This is depression milk glass. This depression milk glass vase was made by Hazel Atlas. This Starburst milk glass vase is rare and was made in the 1930s. It is also called Platonite. It is a well-made vase that measures 5 5/8″. The vase is Opaque/Translucent when held up to the light. It is in white milk glass and the pattern has incised stars that look like starbursts. The top of the vase is ruffled, the bottom of the vase has a starburst with Hazel Atlas Logo in the Center. Hazel Atlas Logo is an H over an A in a circle. A beautiful vase to add to your Hazel Atlas or Milk Glass collection. Hazel Atlas began producing glass in the early 1930s. They created all types of glass ware and table ware. The factory was located in Clarksville, West Virginia. They were known as the “World’s Famous and Biggest Tumbler Factory”. The items made by Hazel Atlas are very collectible.
