A rare vintage Royal Windsor Black Faced Wall Pocket. This vintage Royal Windsor Wall Pocket is also known as “Island Man”. The stunning high gloss finish shows off the “island Man’s” features. His head is wrapped in a white turban. It doesn’t look like flowers or plants were ever placed in this wall pocket. Inside is clean white high gloss glaze. This rare Royal Windsor Black Faced “Island Man” is 7 1/4″. This vintage rare Royal Windsor wall pocket is marked on the back Royal Windsor in raised letters This rare black-faced “island Man” was produced circa 1940’s – 1950’s. Spaulding Company patented the names Royal Copley/Royal Windsor in 1938. By 1939 Spaulding Company was in full production in Sebring, Ohio. The Royal Copley and Royal Windsor name continued until 1960 when the plant was closed.
Condition: In excellent vintage condition. No nicks, cracks or repairs. Light even crazing on the turban and on back of the wall pocket.
