We have a lot of 5 Swanky Swigs Country Whimsical Juice Glasses for sale. They are juice glasses, originally made to hold Processed Cheese and Jam. Kraft Foods began to sell Processed Cheese and Jam in hand-painted glasses with closed metal lids in 1933. Kraft had Hazel Atlas Company produce the glasses. Kraft filled them and sent the juice glasses to local Grocery Stores. Shoppers loved them! Kraft Foods had Hazel Atlas hand-paint more designs. The designs became sets, and shoppers kept buying Swanky Swig glasses filled with Cheese and Jam to collect the set. Many started on new sets as they went along. Some of the designs were Blue Cornflower, Periwinkle Blue Asters, Whimsical patterns with Spinning Wheels, Tulips, and Kids Patterns like the Bunny Glass. These are $6.00 each. Each glass measures 3 3/4″ x 2 1/8″ x 2 1/8″. Approx shipping weight 3 lbs.
