This is an 5 3/8″ round Waterford clear dessert bowl. This Waterford Waffle glass bowl is by Anchor Hocking. This is a Waterford depression cut glass bowl. This 5 3/8″ round Waterford clear serving bowl is elegant, durable and sure to be the hit of any party. This Berry Bowl/Dessert Bowl is in the Waterford Waffle pattern in clear glass. The detailed Sawtooth edge that looks like lace around the rim. The design is in a Diamond pattern that meets ribbed panels that look like an open fan. Waterford Waffle Clear looks like cut crystal. Waterford Waffle is called Depression Pressed Glass or Patterned Glass. The Waterford Waffle Clear berry bowl/ dessert bowl was made from 1938 – 1944. The design was created towards the end of the Great Depression. Anchor Hocking was created when Hocking Glass merged with Anchor Glass in 1937. After the merger, the company was renamed Anchor Hocking Glass. The Great Depression was a severe World Wide Economic Depression from 1929 – 1939.
Condition: In Good Vintage condition. No nicks, chips, cracks, staining or repairs. Small tiny bubbles which is normal to occur during glass production. Some scuffing and scratches on bottom of bowl from use.
